  I recently needed a short-term storage solution and found Fort Knox. I called on a Thursday and spoke with Alex, who was incredibly kind and accommodating. She found the perfect unit for my family’s needs for the Friday. I arrived early the next day with a full car load and met Alex in person. She was super friendly and welcoming. She showed me the available units, which were exactly what I needed. We quickly sorted out the paperwork and payment, and I unloaded my car into the unit. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to extend our stay by another week. Alex was again extremely helpful, sending me a payment link, and we were sorted for another week. After the second week, we left but I must say, if you need a storage company, I highly recommend Fort Knox. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. The facility was clean, tidy, easy to access, in a great location, and had amazing staff. The price was great too. They were around fantastic. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staff incredibly helpful and facilities are clean and new , loved the key code system so no need for a key.   Since I very first walked into this place early last October Fort Knox I was made to feel very welcome and all of the staff who I have since met or chatted with when making a payment over the phone couldn't be anymore seriously helpful and they certainly made me feel more at home and seriously very Very welcome ever since and this actual place itself his very good value for money so I fully recommend this place to anyone who wants to move any of their actual belongings temporarily into Fort Knox  has you seriously couldn't meet any nicer people anywhere else when wanting to find your actual very selves a storage unit to store all of your belongings and although a really nice guy who helped me no ends up has recently left because of personal reasons the actual owner herself Alex who I have only spoken to over the phone sounds a really lovely person and so seriously helpful and John also too has he his seriously also a really nice guy and so seriously helpful and now I believe that they have someone new who has just recently joined the team also anyway im looking forward to seeing them hopefully in the next few weeks or so but I know all of my actual belongings are seriously safe so I don't have any extra worry about this anymore and this place Fort Knox most definitely gets a 10 plus from me allday long,👍🙂.......

How does self-storage work?

Determine how much space you need with our expert support and guidance.
Confirm the best price and contract terms to suit your needs.
Reserve your storage unit.
Pack your items.
Transport them to the site yourself or arrange for a removals firm or white van service (we can recommend options if you need advice).
Fill your self-storage unit.
Lock your unit (you keep the key).
Access your items whenever you wish, seven days a week.

How secure are my items?

Yes, our highly trained staff are experienced and would be delighted to show you a range of storage units to help you find the one that best meets your needs.

How long can I stay?

You can stay as short or as long as you like—from a minimum of seven days to as long as you wish, provided you continue making payments, of course!

Is there anything I can't store?

Common sense applies, but generally, you can store most things except for:

Food or perishable goods
Compressed gases
Toxic, pollutant, or contaminated goods
Firearms, munitions, or explosives
Radioactive materials
Chemicals or biological agents
Flammable or hazardous goods
Any item emitting fumes, odour, or smell
All living plants or animals
Cash and securities
Fireworks
Illegal or stolen goods
Waste, asbestos, or potentially dangerous materials
Motorbikes (not allowed in our units)

We always cooperate with the Police and HM Customs.

What about insurance?

Your goods must be insured while in storage. We offer a StoreProtect Policy.

We take great care of our premises and make every effort to protect your stored items. However, certain events, like fire or flood, are beyond our control, so it’s standard practice for self-storage companies to require customers to insure their goods adequately during their stay.

What does our insurance cover?

Our insurance covers actual physical loss or damage to your property caused by: Fire, lightning, explosion, earthquake, storm, flood, burst or leaking pipes, water or liquid ingress, aircraft or articles dropped therefrom, theft accompanied by forcible and violent entry to or exit from the building or unit, riot, strike, civil commotion, malicious damage, and impact by vehicles or railway rolling stock.

If you choose to provide your own insurance, you’ll need to supply a letter or policy from the insurer specifying:

The sum insured
The cover start and end dates
Our address where your goods are stored

You must ensure your policy covers the same “Insured Perils” as detailed in Fort Knox’s Terms and Conditions. We will need to take a copy of your insurance policy and keep it on file with your lease agreement. These documents must be supplied annually as they expire.
